TLD-710 Discriminative Thermoluminescent Personal Dosimeter

Overview

The TLD-710 energy-discriminating thermoluminescent dosimeter is a multifunctional personal dosimeter capable of energy discrimination (primarily for X and gamma rays). It can be used to distinguish deep dose Hp(10) and shallow dose Hp(0.07) photons for radiation workers, assess the functionality of exposure doses, and also measure radiation accident doses.

Wide Applications:

■ Nuclear industry and nuclear power plant radiation protection, including personal, environmental, and accident dose monitoring;
■ Radiobiology (studying biological effects caused by ionizing radiation, accurately estimating organ doses, etc.);
■ Radiotherapy (monitoring patient exposure doses during radiation diagnosis and treatment, studying human dose distribution);
■ Geology (studying stratigraphic structures, geological ages, uranium prospecting, natural background surveys, groundwater and petroleum exploration, etc.);
■ Archaeology (determining the age of pottery, etc.) and other fields, for cumulative dose measurements of X-rays, gamma rays, and neutrons to protect the environment and personnel.

■ Capable of measuring X and gamma ray doses

■ Can accommodate LiF:Mg,Ti and LiF:Mg,Cu,P thermoluminescent detectors of various specifications: 4×4×0.8mm, Φ1.5×0.8mm, Φ4.5×0.8mm.

Dosimeter Specifications

TLD-710 model: 55×37.5×7.5mm (excluding clip). Each dosimeter case can simultaneously hold 7 pieces/13 pieces of thermoluminescent dosimeter detection elements.
